Toyota Canada today introduced the 2008 Toyota Yaris Hatchback, the snappy subcompact that continues to set the benchmark for versatility and fun this highly competitive market segment. As recently announced, the 2008 Toyota Yaris Hatchback is eligible for the $1,000 ecoAUTO federal rebate that applies to fuel efficient vehicles.

For 2008, the Toyota Yaris Hatchback is available with a choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions. Three-door models are available in CE or RS trim levels, while the five-door model option is available in LE or RS trim levels.

The Yaris Three-Door Hatchback CE represents great value, thanks to a generous complement of standard features, including:

• An AM/FM stereo/CD system with two speakers;
• A fold-down rear seat and interior access to the trunk/cargo area, which can hold up to 8.1 cubic feet;
• Dual vanity mirrors;
