Automatic Headlamp System.
Coming this winter, a new 2.7 litre
4-cylinder engine will enter the 2009 Highlander model line-up.
This new model will deliver outstanding fuel efficiency plus an impressive
187 horsepower at 5,800 RPM and 186 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 RPM.
The 4-cylinder model will be mated to an all-new six-speed electronically-controlled
automatic transmission with intelligence (ECT-i) to deliver V6-like
performance. It will remain crossover-capable with a remarkable
towing capacity of 1,588 kg (3,500 lbs). Moreover, with great
options available, such as a power driver seat, rear air conditioning,
roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and more, Canadians have
even more reason to look to fuel efficient choices that meet their needs.
