"We thank Canadians for choosing Toyota vehicles that offer more power, less fuel and no compromise, helping Toyota achieve an all-time record sales year,” said Warren Orton, Director at TCI. “Toyota’s three Canadian-built models, all updated in 2008, continue to be the most popular, at almost 50% of total Toyota sales in Canada, demonstrating that Toyota builds vehicles where we sell them.”
To further encourage Canadians to “Start Smart” for 2009, when Canadians finance any Toyota model they can take advantage of an offer to make no payments for 90 days. What’s more, $500 gas gift cards are available when purchasing the made-in-Canada 2009 Toyota Corolla, Matrix and RAV4 and up to $5,000 in gas gift cards or cash credit are available when purchasing other select 2008 and 2009 models.
"We thank the record number of Canadian drivers who turned to Lexus in 2008 when shopping for a vehicle that would deliver maximum moments of personal satisfaction,” said Tony Wearing, Managing Director of Lexus in Canada. “We are pleased that the RX350, which has now been built in Canada for five years, continued to be our most popular model with Canadians looking for performance, quality, luxury, fuel efficiency and excellent emissions ratings that only a Lexus can provide.”
To ring in the new year and in anticipation of the all-new 2010 RX, Lexus is offering a 3.9% lease and finance rate on 2009 made-in-Canada RX 350 luxury crossovers. Lexus will also offer a best-ever lease and finance rate of 3.5% on 2008 RX 400h luxury hybrid crossovers, making perfect moments of performance, fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and no-sacrifice luxury even more enticing.
