  • To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tim Hortons, 10 bonus vehicles have been added to the traditional 40 vehicle giveaway
  • Partnership between Toyota Canada and Tim Hortons on Roll Up The Rim To Win® Contest in its ninth year

TORONTO, ON., (February 18, 2014) – Drop by your local Tim Hortons for Canada’s Favourite coffee* and you could drive away in an all-new 2014 Toyota Corolla.

From February 17 until April 25, Toyota Canada and Tim Hortons are partnering once again on the Roll Up The Rim To Win® Contest. Each year, 40 Toyota vehicles are available to be won for the contest. This year – to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tim Hortons – 10 bonus vehicles have been added, bringing the total to 50.

The top prize this year is the all-new Toyota Corolla. With more than 40 million sold worldwide, including more than 1.3 million in Canada, it’s the perfect vehicle for this year’s commemorative contest.

When Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. (TMMC) opened a plant in Cambridge in 1988, the first car to roll off the assembly line was a four-door Corolla sedan. In the 25 years since, more than three million Corollas have been built at TMMC. This newest Corolla introduces expressive new styling, a class-up interior and powerful new technologies, all while remaining true to Corolla’s longtime core attributes of quality, dependability, and fuel efficiency.

The 2014 Corolla – the eleventh generation of the car – is offered in four versions. The CE, the LE, the LE Eco, and this year’s giveaway model, the Corolla S.

The Corolla S features an aggressive exterior with a mesh upper grille, 17 inch aluminum alloy wheels, rear spoiler and side mirrors with integrate turn signals, matched with the interior comfort of a multi-information display, seats finished in sport fabric with leatherette trim, heated front seats, and a back-up camera.

The Corolla will be featured on Roll Up The Rim To Win® cups, in television and radio advertising, on outdoor advertising such as billboards and transit shelters, and on in-store displays at participating Tim Hortons locations across Canada.

This is the ninth consecutive year Toyota Canada and Tim Hortons have partnered on the Roll Up The Rim To Win® Contest. During that time, more than 275 vehicles have been awarded to contest winners.
