TORONTO, ON – September 1, 2011 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) today reported sales of 14,012 Toyota, Lexus and Scion cars, trucks and SUVs in August, 2011 – up 8.9% from the same month the previous year. This included a 29.3% boost to passenger car sales across all three brands, with Lexus luxury passenger sales up 30% for the best ever August.
Supporting Canada’s desire for Toyota vehicles, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc.’s (TMMC) return to 100% production capacity ensures a renewed supply of Canadian-built Corolla, Matrix, RAV4 and RX350 vehicles.
With the pending launch of the all-new Camry, Yaris, Prius v and Scion iQ, the final months of 2011 are shaping up to be very exciting.
