Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) Reports Six Consecutive Months of Record Sales for Lexus


 

TORONTO, Ontario – September 1, 2021 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI)’s Lexus division reported its sixth consecutive month of record sales, up 27.8% from August 2020, with 2,508 units sold, led by the sales of the Lexus IS, UX, NX and RX.

TCI’s electrified vehicle sales also achieved an August sales record, increasing by 20.7.% from August 2020, with 5,532 units sold.

Overall, TCI sales were down 1.4% with 21,309 units sold in August. The Toyota division sold 18,801 units in August, down 4.4%.
