Scion iM is Powering Passion for young and young at heart as spontaneous, racing-inspired car designed for urban driving

With the “i” standing for individuality and intriguing, and the “M” representing modern, multifaceted and magnetic, the Scion iM concept car is a sleek, fun and versatile five-door hatchback.

The concept vehicle is the basis for a production version of the iM that will be sold at dealerships in Canada – a car that will deliver style and comfort at an affordable price, and boast the superior quality, dependability and safety for which Toyota is renowned.

The iM concept car is inspired by racing with its wide stance and low ride height. Yet it’s designed for urban driving, boasting excellent fuel efficiency, sporty handling, easy parking and loads of cargo room. And it is topped off by a striking paint colour called “Incredi-blue,” which combines with matte silver and gunmetal accents to complement the car’s racing inspiration and fun-to-drive spirit. 

The vehicle features front and rear bumper overhangs to create dynamic surfaces. It also incorporates geometric grille inserts, deep air intakes and fog lights. In addition, large 19-inch forged alloy wheels sit flush with the body while vented rotors with 4-piston calipers work with an adjustable-height racing suspension.
