Robert joined Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) at its head office in Toronto, Ontario in 2008. He has held a variety of management positions in several planning areas of TCI’s business including demand and supply, product, pricing, corporate strategy, connected vehicle technologies, and advanced powertrains. Most recently, Robert oversaw the planning for vehicles like the all new Lexus UX Toyota RAV4, and the Canadian introduction of Toyota’s first hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle – the Mirai.
Robert began his career as an engineer at General Motors of Canada working on several new vehicle programs. He also holds graduate degrees in engineering and business management.
He holds a bachelor degree in applied science (University of Waterloo) and graduate degrees in engineering (Carnegie Mellon) and business administration (York University).
