WHAT’S NEW: 2015 YARIS HATCHBACK

The Toyota Yaris is a favourite with Quebec drivers – and for 2015, Toyota rewards those looking for a sporty and versatile subcompact with improved driving dynamics, a quieter cabin, and updated styling inside and out. Available in three-door and five-door hatchback configurations, all models benefit from additional standard features, too.

The already well-equipped Yaris gets even more features for 2015.

EXTERIOR:


Proportions reflect a low center of gravity giving Yaris a bold, sure-footed stance – while its crisp body styling gives Yaris a modern, European flair. New exterior features for 2015 include:.

  • Revised front and rear bumper design
  • Revised tail light design
  • Yaris 5-Door SE receives a new grille, piano black door beltline moldings, and new projector style headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights
INTERIOR:

Be impressed: With a surprising amount of luggage space and a 60/40 split folding rear seat, there’s plenty of room for gear – while the rear hatch has been designed to be as accommodating as possible to make it easy to get items in and out. Meanwhile, a driver-focused cockpit puts all information and control within easy reach. The interior has been redesigned for 2015, while improved aerodynamics and other noise-limiting enhancements have reduced both wind and engine noise for a more comfortable and quieter ride.
 
ENGINE & DRIVING DYNAMICS:


With a 106 peak horsepower 1.5L 4-cylinder engine plus a choice of five-speed manual or four-speed Super ECT auto transmission with overdrive, the Yaris delivers big driving fun. Agility is assured with a European-tuned suspension, a tight (9.4m) turning circle, and responsive braking. The 2015 Yaris 5-Door Hatchback SE delivers even more performance, with a sport-tuned suspension, rear disc brakes and 16” alloy wheels. Performance improvements on all models for 2015 include:

  • Improved steering feel
  • Improved aerodynamics
  • Increased body stiffness
