Regency Lexus in Vancouver celebrates grand opening of luxurious new showroom

When Regency Lexus first opened its doors in Vancouver in 1989, six employees served customers in a 6,800-square-foot showroom.

On Thursday, April 24the dealership is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the grand opening of a stunning new $12-million, 17,000 square foot facility that is among the first in Canada to incorporate Lexus’ new platinum image.

With the dealership more than doubling in size compared to the old location, Regency Lexus now has a team that has grown to 38 dedicated professionals.

“This is a landmark day for the staff at Regency Lexus and their guests,” said Larry Hutchinson, Vice President, Sales, Toyota Canada Inc. “This new luxury facility reflects the design excellence that’s synonymous with the Lexus brand. We invite people in the community to come take a tour and see for themselves what a special place it is.”

Located at 2288 Burrard Street, the dealership spans a full city block in the heart of the city. It’s the first time a Lexus dealership has been developed within a condominium building.

Shades of platinum and grey transform a space filled with luxurious finishings to provide the perfect setting for Lexus vehicles and their owners. Centrepiece elements include a refined concierge desk, an all-glass staircase, and a 900-square-foot VIP lounge. The building is also environmentally friendly, with LED lighting throughout, auto dimming in the showroom, and washrooms designed to minimize water consumption.

There’s convenient entry to the dealership off of 6th Avenue. Ample underground parking is available.
