Toyota Canada Inc. reports June 2011 sales


TORONTO, ON – July 4, 2011 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) today reported sales of 11,467 Toyota, Lexus and Scion cars, trucks and SUVs in June 2011, down 28.5% from June 2010.
 
Toyota sales in June 2011 (vs. June 2010)
Toyota sold 9,966 cars, trucks and SUVs in June, down 31.8%.
•     Toyota Highlander sales up 38.8%
•     Toyota Tacoma 4x2 sales up 36.8%
•     Toyota Camry sales up 18.9%
•     Toyota Sequoia sales up 17.5%
•     Toyota Sienna sales up 6.6%
•     Best ever month for Scion with sales of 598 vehicles
•     Best ever month for Scion tC
 
Lexus sales in June 2011 (vs. June 2010)
Lexus sold 903 luxury vehicles in June, down 36.8%.
•     Lexus IS F sales up 20%
