Westminster Toyota helps green Maywood Community School

Toyota dealer donates indigenous plants to local schoolground as part of the Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds program

(BURNABY) Westminster Toyota today announced it has donated indigenous trees and plants to Maywood Community School as part of the Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds program. The new greenery will allow students at the school to experience nature firsthand, and will provide even greater environmental learning opportunities.

“We are pleased to help green Maywood’s schoolgrounds with the donation of these indigenous plants,” said Stewart Butt, General Manager of Westminster Toyota. “This is a real life lesson in recycling and reuse for the students. These plants were just recently used as part of the Toyota Canada environmental booth at the BC Home and Garden show, and we were happy to be able to give them a new home at Maywood Community School.”
