Drivetrain

  • 4x2 drivetrain for more fuel efficiency and the best towing capacity possible
  • 4x4 drivetrain for superior traction and performance under all weather and terrain conditions

Engine Size and Transmission

  • The 5.7L i-FORCE V8 cranks out 381 hp and up to 401 lb-ft of torque
  • The 4.6L i-FORCE V8 delivers improved fuel efficiency while still producing up to 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque
  • All models feature a six-speed Super ECT transmission with Sequential Shift Mode for smooth shifts and maximum efficiency

Cab Size

  • Regular Cab – 3 people
  • Double Cab – up to 6 people
  • CrewMax – up to 6 people

Bed Length

  • 5.5-foot bed

Upgraded Tow Package

All Tundra models with the 5.7L i-FORCE V8 engine are standard equipped with a Tow Package. For 2016, this Tow Package includes an added trailer brake controller and 144L fuel tank – the largest in its class. The Tow Package also includes a heavy-duty tow hitch receiver, 4+7 pin connectors, supplemental transmission cooler and a transmission fluid temperature gauge

 

The 2016 Toyota Tundra is available in 10 models, as follows:

Tundra 4x2 Regular Cab SR Long Bed 5.7L (Starting MSRP: $29,035)

This model delivers an impressive 4,760 kg (10,500 lb) towing capacity plus the cargo-loading versatility of an 8.1-foot bed – long enough for full-size sheet goods. Standard features include 6.1” display audio, voice recognition with Bluetooth connectivity, air conditioning, backup camera, steering wheel mounted audio controls, and tow package to name a few.

  • This model may be ordered with the available SR5 Package, which adds: a 7” display audio system, XM Satellite Radio, advanced voice recognition, power door locks with keyless entry, power windows with driver side auto up/down, rear privacy glass, illuminated vanity mirrors, cruise control, chrome accents, chrome front and rear bumper ends, variable intermittent wipers, upgraded interior trim, SR5 badging, foot well lighting, and carpet flooring

 

Tundra 4x2 Double Cab SR5 4.6L (Starting MSRP: $32,290)

This Tundra handles crew and cargo with ease, with seating for up to six, a 6.5-foot bed, and the efficient yet powerful 4.6L i-FORCE V8 that delivers a 3,080 kg (6,800 lb) towing capacity. Standard feature highlights include 6-speaker audio system, power door locks, cruise control and more.

  • This model may be fitted with the SR5 Plus Package, which adds: telescopic steering column, console-mounted shift lever, front centre console box, silver dash trim, bucket seats, eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar, four-way manual adjustable passenger seat, rear under-seat storage, bed-rail system, tie-down cleats, fog lamps, and 18” aluminum alloy wheels with locks

Tundra 4x4 Regular Cab SR Long Bed 5.7L (Starting MSRP: $33,295)

With its combination of a 5.7L i-FORCE engine and Toyota’s legendary 4x4 capability, this model is a force to be reckoned with. This model features a 4,625 kg (10,200 lb) towing capacity, plus the cargo-loading versatility of an 8.1-foot bed. With seating for up to three, it’s generously equipped and ready to work. Standard features on this model include air conditioning, backup camera, TFT Multi Information display, outside temperature gauge, steering wheel mounted audio controls, 18” steel wheels, power adjustable heated mirrors, and more.

Tundra 4x4 Double Cab SR 4.6L (Starting MSRP: $36,850)
