Toyota and Lexus hybrids on display and available for test drives at the Green Living Show in Toronto

Toronto, ON – April 15, 2011 – Visitors to the Green Living Show can see environmentally friendly living solutions that can easily be incorporated into their lifestyles. Toyota Canada offers one of the attractions, with sustainable mobility vehicles from both Toyota and Lexus on display and available for test drives.

Toyota Canada is also proud to present the Farm Fresh Fare feature at the show, which lets attendees sample sustainable food from local farmers and producers, prepared by Toronto chefs.

“As Canadians increasingly seek more environmentally friendly lifestyle choices, the Green Living Show presents many different practical options, including sustainable mobility vehicles from Toyota and Lexus,” said Stephen Beatty, Chief Environmental Officer and Managing Director at Toyota Canada Inc. “We encourage show visitors to explore some of our latest advancements, from the all-new Toyota Prius v to the Prius Plug-in Hybrid, Camry Hybrid and Highlander Hybrid, plus the world’s first line-up of luxury hybrids from Lexus, including the all-new CT 200h.”

Visitors to the show can check out the newest hybrids from Toyota and Lexus, and see how this transportation choice can impact their environmental footprint. Driving a Prius hybrid instead of an average midsize vehicle, for example, can save drivers up to 1,150 litres of gas and avoid emitting approximately 2.6 tonnes of CO2 in the atmosphere every year. That's a 60% reduction in fuel and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

In addition to Toyota and Lexus displays, visitors to the show can browse a wide variety of exhibitor booths while gathering valuable information from a diverse array of demonstrations, presentations and activities.

The Green Living Show takes place Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto. For more information, visitwww.greenlivingonline.com/torontoshow/
