The 2008 Tundra: Toyota delivers more value for fans of the already popular 2008 Truck King Challenge winner

NOVEMBER 9, 2007 (TORONTO) The 2008 Tundra: Toyota delivers more value for fans of the already popular 2008 Truck King Challenge winner - Toyota Canada today introduced the 2008 Toyota Tundra, enhancing the 2008 Truck King Challenge winning full-size pick-up truck with even more value.   Customers will be able to take advantage of $1825 in savings off the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) over equivalent 2007 models plus standard extendable towing mirrors on select models.

"The current generation Tundra was designed from the wheels up for the 2007 model year, after extensive consultation at the work site of hundreds of people who depend upon a full-size pick-up truck for work. Since it was introduced earlier this year, the Tundra has been overwhelmingly received by Canadians looking for the performance, power, quality, comfort and style that only a Toyota Truck can deliver, and we have exceeded our sales forecast every month," said Tony Wearing, Managing Director of Toyota Canada Inc. "As we launch the 2008 model year, we are taking this opportunity to thank Canadian pick-up truck drivers for helping to make Tundra such a critical and popular success, through a mix of price repositioning and added value. For example, customer feedback from our Tundra drivers indicated how important towing was in their daily driving, so this year we are including one of the most popular options - extendable towing mirrors - as standard equipment on selected Tundra models. We've also added a bed-liner package available on all models, to protect and enhance the Tundra's already remarkable utility."
