Tim Hortons customers have 35 chances to realize their full potential in this popular Canadian-built cross-over vehicle.

(TORONTO, Ontario) – Toyota Canada Inc. announced today that this year’s grand prize in the Tim Hortons Rrroll Up The Rim To Win promotion will be the all-new 2009 Toyota Matrix AWD with Sport Package.

“Toyota’s popular Matrix was completely redesigned for the 2009 model year, with sensational performance and sporty, distinctive styling,” noted Stephen Beatty, Managing Director of Toyota Canada Inc. “To celebrate the third year of this exciting partnership between Toyota Canada and Tim Hortons, we continue to make things better by offering the all-wheel-drive Matrix, enhanced with an exciting Sport Package.”

The 2009 Toyota Matrix will be featured on all Rrroll Up The Rim To Win cups, on television and radio advertising, on outdoor advertising such as billboards and transit shelters, and on in-store displays at participating Tim Hortons locations across Canada and the U.S.

Built exclusively at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) in Cambridge, Ontario, the all-new Matrix features distinctive, coupe-like exterior styling emphasized by a wider, low stance that maintains interior space and utility. The Matrix AWD offers a new and powerful, yet fuel efficient, 2.4-litre engine that delivers up to 158HP and 162lb-ft of torque. Performance is enhanced with optional 17” wheels, Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control. The Sport Package adds an in-dash six-disc CD changer, power tilt/slide moonroof with sun shade, fog lamps, electro-chromatic rear view mirror with integrated digital compass, and sporty styling details such as a front chin spoiler, rear skirt, and chrome tail pipe.
