Toyota Canada and Bass Pro Shops Contest Kicks Off Spring Fishing Classic

(TORONTO, ON), March 15, 2011 – As spring fever takes over, Toyota Canada and Bass Pro Shops are offering the chance to win a 2012 Toyota Highlander V6 AWD Sport and a $1,000 Bass Pro shopping spree, perfect for taking warmer weather outdoor adventures to the next level. In addition, the winner will also be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime day of fishing with Dave Mercer, renowned Professional Angler and the host of TV's Facts of Fishing.

Robert Bona from Cambridge, Ontario, was recently selected as the grand prize winner of last year’s Toyota Canada and Bass Pro Shops contest. Mr. Bona is now the proud new owner of a 2011 Toyota 4Runner, a $1,000 Bass Pro Shopping Spree and a fishing experience with Dave Mercer.

 

Visit Bass Pro Shops to put Toyota trucks to the test on challenging off-road courses during the Spring Fishing Classic Ride & Drive Event. The off-road ride and drive tracks will be set up in the parking lots adjacent to Bass Pro Shops two Canadian locations on the following dates:

 

Visitors to Bass Pro Shops locations in Rocky View, Alberta or Vaughan Mills, Ontario can enter in-store for a chance to win. The contest runs from March 1, 2011 through to December 31, 2011.
