MONTREAL, QC., (January 14, 2015) – Visitors to the Toyota and Scion booths at the 2015 Montreal International Auto Show can expect plenty of adrenaline-rushing excitement – from eye-popping concept vehicles to a pop-up barber shop offering stylish free haircuts.

Some of the vehicles at the Toyota booth Montreal drivers will want to spend time taking a close look at include:

  • Toyota FT-1 – This will be the Canadian debut of this aggressive, track-focused concept car representing the sports coupe of the future (FT stands for “Future Toyota”). Uniquely fusing heart-pounding emotional excitement with Toyota’s traditional “rational” strengths, this striking vehicle looks as though it has been shaped by the wind, while offering an intimate cockpit.

  • Toyota TS030 – This hybrid race car – with technology integrated into Toyota’s consumer hybrids – features a powertrain of the TS040 predecessor that enabled Toyota to become the first Japanese manufacturer to win the FIA World Endurance Championship. The car captures and re-distributes energy from braking, delivering a 300-horsepower hybrid boost.

  • 2015 Toyota Prius c and Prius v – Imagined for the streets of a city like Montreal, the “c” – which stands for city – has been given a sportier new look for 2015.  Meanwhile, the “v” – which stands for versatile and is the largest Prius in the family – also has a great new look for 2015, with revised front and rear styling and new colours.

“As the number-one selling nameplate in Quebec, we’re excited that visitors will experience Toyota’s new innovating vehicles and have some fun,” said Seiji Ichii, President and CEO, Toyota Canada Inc.
