The new Avalon is available in two models – the all-new, athletic XSE and the more opulent Limited. The models are clearly differentiated in design and features to appeal to different tastes – but both deliver remarkable value for Canadian drivers.

Both models feature a 14-speaker JBL Audio system with ClariFi Technology, a 9” display, integrated Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and Apple CarPlay. Other standard amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, four USB charging ports, heated front seats, window jam protection, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio, Bluetooth, voice recognition and multi information display controls, integrated garage door opener, the Toyota Smart Key System with Push Button Start and the Qi wireless charging system for smart phones.

Built around the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform and a new powertain that benefits from more power and better fuel efficiency, the new Avalon delivers a spirited yet comfortable driving experience. A new TNGA-developed 3.5L Atkinson cycle V6 generates up to 301 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. It works in concert with an all-new, TNGA-derived eight-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission that delivers smooth, precise shifts and on-demand power to the front wheels. The Drive Mode Select system features Normal, Eco and Sport settings to match the driver’s mood and road conditions.

The new Avalon is also built around an impressive package of active and passive safety technologies headlined by Toyota Safety Sense P. This bundle of advanced safety systems includes the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection function, featuring forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking… Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist function… Automatic High Beams… and full speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. The 2019 Toyota Avalon XSE (starting MSRP $42,790) is an all-new trim level for 2019. Its performance nature is emphasized by a unique sport grille, rear spoiler, 19” alloy wheels, quad tip exhaust system, paddle shifters and sport-tuned suspension. Other features include a sound generator with active noise cancellation, Entune Audio Plus with Scout GPS Link, aluminum trim, ultra-suede and synthetic leather seats, and rear cross traffic alert safety system.

The 2019 Toyota Avalon Limited (starting MSRP $47,790) amps up the premium features, with premium LED headlights and rear combination lamps and unique 18” alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in real wood and features premium ambient lighting. Seating is clad in semi-aniline leather, with ventilated seats up front and heated seats for all occupants.
