Westminster Toyota Breaks Ground on New Dealership

TORONTO, ON – May 3, 2018 – Construction is underway on a new, state-of-the-art home for Westminster Toyota in the heart of British Columbia’s Lower Mainland.

Westminster Toyota has been a part of “New West” since 1988 and is well known in the community for supporting many local groups – including the New Westminster Little League, the South Burnaby Metro Soccer Club, the New Westminster Salmon Bellies, and others. The dealership also takes part in the annual Caring Neighbours program, which helps families and seniors in need during the holiday season.

Westminster Toyota is a go-to destination when shopping for a new vehicle – and the new showroom and service centre will make that experience even better. An 8,000 sq-ft showroom will have room for 15 new Toyota models, in addition to a rooftop display of vehicles, while a new Technology Centre will help make shopping for a new vehicle a five-star experience.

Toyota dealerships have a reputation for excellent customer service, and Westminster Toyota will continue to demonstrate this. The new facility’s maintenance area will include 15 bays to provide speedy servicing, including Express Lube service. Two lounges will feature TVs, WiFi, workstations, and other amenities to provide a first-class experience for customers. A six-vehicle, covered drive-through reception area will make vehicle drop-off pleasant (and dry on those rainy days). And an on-site automated carwash and detailing service means every vehicle can leave the dealership looking great – inside and out.

Westminster Toyota’s new facility will also incorporate a number of features to minimize its environmental footprint – from LED lighting to low-flow toilets.

The new home of Westminster Toyota will be located at 1050 Boyd Street in Queensborough Landing – just a few minutes southwest of the dealership’s current location at 210 12^th Street.
