TORONTO, ON – JUNE 5, 2019 – Toyota Prius Prime receives upgrades on the 2020 model and remains the most efficient Toyota Hybrid while serving as one of the best options to protect drivers from price hikes at the gas pump.

Defined as the best or at the top, the word “Prime”, is a natural fit for the Prius model which is the most technologically advanced and best-equipped Prius in the model’s nearly two-decade global history. With the power to run in either EV Mode, EV Auto Mode or Hybrid Mode, Prius Prime strikes a harmonious balance between necessity and desire.

New upgrades for 2020 include:

  • Two additional USB ports are added for the rear passengers for even more ways to connect
  • Black interior accents to replace previous white accents for a more premium feel
