TORONTO, Ontario – April 1, 2022 –Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold 40,618 units during Q1 2022, down 12.9% from Q1 2021.
Toyota division sold 35,523 units, down 15.1% from Q1 2021, while Lexus division sold 5,095 units, up 5.7% from Q1 2021.
For March 2022, TCI sold 17,593 units, down 16.7% from March 2021.
Toyota division sold 15,092 units, down 20.1% from March 2021, while Lexus division saw its best March ever with 2,501 units sold, up 11.6% from March 2021.
Electrified vehicles
Electrified vehicles represented 23.1% of overall TCI units sold during Q1 2022 and 26.1% of units sold in March 2022.
