TORONTO, Ontario (November 10th, 2023) – Canadians in the market for a cutting-edge crossover will find stylish design, driving fun, and smart connectivity in the 2024 Toyota Venza. Available in three grades, all powered exclusively by Toyota’s hybrid technology applied to electronic on-demand all-wheel-drive, the Venza redefines the crossover for the electrified age.
“The Toyota Venza is everything a crossover should be – with elegant styling, a refined interior, and well-engineered performance that delivers driving fun,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “The result is a crossover that stands out from the crowd.”
The Toyota Venza expresses its outstanding style from any angle. The body features elegant, sculpted lines that emphasize Venza’s low centre of gravity and sleek, tapered roofline. All grades feature LED headlamps plus a full-width rear LED light bar that leaves a lasting impression.
Inside, the cabin pushes into luxury territory with premium materials and exceptional attention to detail. Ambient lighting welcomes the driver to a cockpit elegantly equipped with impressive technology. The heated and power-adjustable driver’s seat automatically slides to the rearmost position to make it easier to enter and exit the vehicle. With 816 litres (28.8 cubic feet) of space behind the second row, Venza has plenty of room for cargo – and the 60:40 split rear seats fold down to free up even more space when required.
Under the hood, the Venza is exclusively electrified, with Toyota’s industry-leading hybrid technology. The Venza’s hybrid drive combines a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with three electric motors to deliver 219 net horsepower, while achieving a fuel efficiency rating of 6.1L/100KM (city/highway combined).
Every Venza is a technology showcase – including the Toyota Multimedia system. This system is a bundle of start connectivity technologies that keep drivers informed and safe while simplifying their lives behind the wheel. Toyota Multimedia integrates wirelessly with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features Toyota’s newest interface, which improves interaction between people and vehicle through sight, touch, and voice. The Venza’s technology package is rounded out with a display audio system, a multi-information display, and a wireless charging system for smart phones.
Every Venza also comes with an impressive package of safety features headlined by Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 – Toyota’s suite of active safety technologies and capabilities. TSS supports driver awareness and decision making to help reduce the potential for accidents. Other standard safety features include the Toyota Star Safety System, eight airbags, the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and an anti-theft system with engine immobilizer.
