TORONTO, Ontario (February 1st, 2024) – At this month’s Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Canadians will get their first opportunity to explore two all-new, exciting vehicles from Toyota. The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia and 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser make their Canadian auto show debuts and arrive at Toyota Dealers later this year.
The Toyota Crown Signia marks the entry of a legendary Toyota badge into the Canadian SUV segment. This premium SUV adopts the best qualities of the Toyota Crown sedan, which arrived in Canada as a 2023 model. Then it adds extra functionality and versatility. The Crown Signia is exclusively electrified, with a standard hybrid-electric powertrain and electronic on-demand all-wheel-drive. It features show-stopping style, a spacious and refined cabin, and impressive cargo-carrying and towing capabilities.
Another legend – the Toyota Land Cruiser – returns to Canada after a 35-year hiatus. Designed from the outset to be authentic, reliable, timeless, and professional, the new Land Cruiser is a high-quality off-roader, ready to welcome a wider range of customers to new adventures all around the globe. The new Land Cruiser is also exclusively electrified, built around Toyota’s range-topping i-FORCE MAX hybrid-electric powertrain full-time 4WD.
In addition to these two all-new models, the Toyota exhibit will showcase the company’s full range of vehicles – including the next-generation Tacoma, the new Grand Highlander, the newest Prius and Prius Prime, plus a full range of fun-to-drive, fun-to-own sedans, coupes, and hatchbacks… stylish and versatile crossovers and minivans… and ready-for-anything SUVs and pick-up trucks.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore innovative Toyota technologies including the advanced safety technologies in Toyota Safety Sense, the world’s most popular and proven electrified powertrains, and the powerful yet intuitive communications features of Toyota Multimedia.
