Toyota Canada Releases July Sales Results

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada-built Toyota RAV4 Hybrid leads the charge in electrified sales


TORONTO, Ontario – August 1, 2024 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold 17,910 vehicles in July 2024, down 9.9% from July 2023.

Toyota division saw July sales of 15,659 units sold, down 9.1% from July 2023.

Lexus division saw July sales of 2,251 units sold, down 15% from July 2023.

Electrified vehicles sales represented 53.4% of overall July TCI sales, hitting a best July volume record with 9,565 units, up 11.5% from July 2023.

For the Toyota Division, electrified vehicles sales represented 53.7% of all units sold in July 2024. The Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada-built Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, hit another best July record with 2,087 units sold, up 26.4% year over year.

Electrified vehicles also represented 51.6% of all Lexus Division units sold in July 2024.
