Toyota Canada Releases June and Q2 2024 Sales Results


TORONTO, Ontario – July 3, 2024 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold 67,544 vehicles during Q2 2024, up 7.3% from the same period last year.

Toyota division saw Q2 sales of 59,111 units sold, up 9.5% from Q2 2023.

Lexus division saw Q2 sales of 8,433 units sold, down 6.2% from Q2 2023.

 

June Results
For June 2024, TCI sold 18,814 vehicles, down 13.0% from June 2023.

Toyota division saw June sales of 15,808 units sold, down 15.5% from June 2023.

Lexus division saw June sales of 3,006 units sold, up 3.0% from June 2023.

 

Electrified Vehicle Sales
Electrified vehicles sales represented 40.1% of overall Q2 TCI sales and 44.2% of overall June sales. For the Toyota Division, electrified vehicles sales represented 38.8% of all units sold in Q2 2024, and 43.5% of all Toyota June sales. Electrified vehicles also represented 48.7% of all Lexus Division units sold in Q2 2024 and 48.2% of overall Lexus vehicles sold in June.

A total of 4,968 Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV, comprised of EV, PHEV and FCEV) units were among the electrified Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold in Q2, up 23.2% compared to Q2 2023. This includes record Q2 for Toyota bZ4X (BEV), RAV4 Prime (PHEV) and Lexus NX 450h+ (PHEV).
