TORONTO, Ontario (November 1, 2024) – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) continues to see strong demand for its electrified vehicles, reaching a monthly record of 11,167 electrified units sold in October 2024, up 27.3% year-over-year.
These electrified vehicles sales represented 56.4% of overall October TCI sales. For the Toyota Division, electrified vehicles sales represented 56.8% of all units sold in October 2024 while electrified vehicles represented 53.8% of all Lexus Division units sold in October 2024.
A total of 3,563 Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV, comprised of EV, PHEV and FCEV) units were among the electrified Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold in October, representing a record October for ZEV sales volume. These strong ZEV sales were helped by a record month for Toyota RAV4 Prime (up 197.0%) as well as a record October month for bZ4X (up 111.3%).

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold 19,803 vehicles in October 2024, down 10.2% from October 2023.
Toyota division saw October sales of 17,275 units sold, down 11.1% from October 2023.
Lexus division saw October sales of 2,528 units sold, down 3.2% from October 2023.
