Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain Lexus vehicles

TORONTO, Ontario – August 8, 2024 – Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain 2025 Lexus UX 300h vehicles. Approximately 90 Lexus vehicles are involved in this recall in Canada.

In the subject vehicles, certain hybrid power system wires could wear over time and separate completely, causing a loss of motive power. A loss of motive power while driving at higher speeds can increase the risk of a crash.

For all involved vehicles, Lexus dealers will replace the engine room main wire harness with a new one, free of charge.

Customers will be notified about this issue through the mail by early October 2024.
