TORONTO, December 18, 2025 – It’s the SUV with striking style and fashionable function. The 2026 Toyota Crown Signia embodies everything Canadians love about crossover sport utility vehicles – from impressive handling and style, to versatility and capability.

“The Crown nameplate has a long and important history with Toyota, and the Crown Signia honours that by embracing all the best qualities and sophistication of the Crown, evolved for modern life,” said Robert Tsang, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “As the only full-line automaker, we continue to offer Canadians a broad range of choices – including this beautiful and versatile, exclusively electrified vehicle that elegantly and capably straddles the line between passenger car and SUV.”

The Crown Signia’s sophistication starts curbside, with an elegant silhouette that expresses an impeccable sense of style – from its long, sweeping roofline to its wide front and rear fenders. Notable exterior features include 21-inch alloy wheels, multi-beam LED headlights with an automatic levelling system and headlamp washers, LED rear combination lamps, a fixed panoramic moon roof with power sunshade, exterior mirrors fitted with integrated turn signals, and a power back door with kick sensor for hands-free operation.

Toyota Canada offers the Crown Signia in 11 colour combinations. Oxygen White, Storm Cloud, Black, and two-tone Oxygen White with a Black roof may be matched with Black or Saddle Tan interiors. Three additional two-tone colour schemes feature a Black Roof and Black interior: Storm Cloud, Bronze Age, and Finish Line Red.

Inside, the Crown Signia welcomes up to five adults to a refined cabin filled with comfort and amenities. Every model features dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated power adjustable front seats, a driver’s seat memory system, 60/40 split folding and heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

While the Crown Signia expresses sophistication and style, it’s still an SUV at heart and that means performance is front and centre under the hood. Here, every Crown Signia features the power and efficiency of Toyota’s hybrid-electric powertrain technology. In the Crown Signia, the hybrid system is built around a 2.5L Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine, high torque electric motor-generators, electronic continuously variable transmission, and a nickel-metal hydride battery. This system delivers power to the wheels via electronic on-demand all-wheel-drive and can operate in EV mode over short distances. The powertrain generates 240 net system horsepower and achieves an impressive fuel efficiency rating of 6.2L / 100km (city/highway combined), plus a 2,700 lbs. (1,225 kg) towing rating.

Every Crown Signia is a technology showcase – headlined by the Toyota Multimedia system. This bundle of smart connectivity technologies helps keep drivers informed and safe while simplifying their lives behind the wheel. Toyota Multimedia integrates wirelessly with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features Toyota’s newest interface, which improves interaction between people and vehicle through sight, touch, and voice. Many functions may be controlled via the touch screen via the same gestures used on mobile phone screens. Other standard technologies on all models include an 11-speaker JBL Premium Audio system, Sirius XM Audio, five USB charging ports, a 12.3-inch full digital gauge cluster, a wireless dock for charging mobile phones, and the Toyota Smart Key system with a digital key.

Crown Signia also comes with an impressive package of safety features headlined by Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 – the newest configuration of Toyota’s suite of active safety technologies and capabilities that supports driver awareness and decision making to help reduce the potential for accidents. Other standard safety features include the Toyota Star Safety System, Blind Spot Monitor system with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Safe Exit Assist, a backup camera with back guide monitor and camera washer, the Rear Seat Reminder system, eight airbags, an anti-theft alarm system, and an on-board tire repair kit.
