TORONTO, January 17, 2025 – Toyota Canada’s customer-first commitment to offering Canadians a full range of stylish, well-engineered vehicles that represent excellent value for money has earned the company five 2025 AutoTrader Awards – several that were awarded for a second consecutive year. AutoTrader’s jury of more than 20 industry experts considered every vehicle available to Canadians and announced the winners today. Toyota was also voted by Canadians as Most Trusted Automotive Brand in the 2025 AutoTrader Awards. Toyota has won this award each year AutoTrader has conducted the study, three years in a row.
“Canadians shopping for a new vehicle today are faced with an incredible range of choices, and they rely upon the knowledge of experts like the journalists who write for AutoTrader. That's why these awards are so important, and we’re thrilled to have been honoured as Canada’s Most Trusted Automotive Brand and given five category awards for various Toyota models,” said Robert Tsang, Vice-President, Toyota Canada Inc. “As the only full-line automaker, Toyota offers the industry’s broadest range of vehicles so Canadians can find a coupe, sedan, hatchback, crossover, SUV, minivan, or truck that suits their lifestyle, fits their budget, keeps them safe – and brings them joy. This is what matters to our customers – and if it matters to them, it matters to us. We look forward to applying our customer-first approach in all that we do as we continue to proudly serve Canadians.”

Toyota was also voted as the Most Trusted Automotive Brand by Canadians in the 2025 AutoTrader Awards. According to a study commissioned by AutoTrader, 28 percent of Canadians surveyed say that Toyota (which includes Lexus) is their most trusted automotive brand. The Most Trusted Automotive Brand award is the only award AutoTrader’s expert jury did not vote on.
Visitors can explore these award-winning vehicles and more at the Toyota booth at the Canadian International Auto Show, which runs February 14-23 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
