Sixth J.D. Power Plant Quality Award for TMMC’s North Plant

TMMC remains the most awarded automotive manufacturing plant in the world



CAMBRIDGE, Ontario – June 25, 2026
– Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. (TMMC) was honoured today with a Silver J.D. Power Plant Quality Award in the J.D. Power 2026 U.S. Initial Quality Study, recognizing the world’s top automotive plants.

This year, TMMC’s North Plant in Cambridge, Ontario earned Silver in the North and South America Region for building the Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid and the Lexus NX and NX Hybrid. This is the sixth award for TMMC’s North Plant.

TMMC has been recognized with 24 plant quality awards since 1991, the first year it was eligible. These include three platinum awards, presented to the top automotive manufacturing plant globally. With the 2026 award, TMMC is now tied as the most awarded automotive manufacturing plant in the world, continuing its legacy of global manufacturing excellence.
