TORONTO, September 29, 2026 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) announced today that it will be supporting the Canada Games through 2031 as its National Mobility Partner.
TCI’s five-year commitment extends through the Quebec City 2027 Canada Winter Games, the Moncton - Saint John 2029 Canada Summer Games and the 2031 Canada Winter Games.
The Canada Games bring together able-bodied athletes and athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities for the largest amateur multi-sport event in the country. Alternating between winter and summer, the Canada Games span more than 30 different sports to showcase the best in Canadian sport and spirit.
TCI will be providing a fleet of over 50 vehicles to support both the operational and Games time fleet transportation needs of the Games. With a focus on zero-emission vehicles, this partnership will play a central role in the delivery of sustainable event operations, aligning with the Games' objective of reducing its environmental impact.
TCI is familiar with the positive impact of the Canada Games, having been the Electrified Fleet Partner for the St. John’s 2025 Games.

The impact of this multi-Games partnership will be first felt in Quebec City, when they host the 2027 Canada Winter Games from February 27 - March 14.

The Canada Games bring together more than 2,000 able-bodied athletes and athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities for the largest amateur multi-sport event in the country. Held once every two years, alternating between winter and summer, the Games span over 30 different sports to showcase the very best in Canadian sport and spirit. Each Canada Games features two weeks of competition, between 16 - 20 sports, up to 4,600 summer and up to 3,500 winter participants (athletes, coaches and managers), and over 5,000 volunteers.
