TORONTO, January 3, 2026 – Electrified vehicles led January Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sales to a total of 14,173 units sold, up 0.1% YOY.
Camry Hybrid (up 65.8% YOY), Tacoma Hybrid (up 9.2% YOY), Crown Signia (up 45.9% YOY), Grand Highlander Hybrid (up 61.0% YOY), Sienna (up 45.0% YOY), Lexus NX 450h+ (up 47.9% YOY) and Lexus RX Hybrid (up 8.6% YOY) are amongst the electrified nameplates that achieved January sales records.
The Toyota bZ (up 579.2% YOY) and Lexus RZ (up 80.0% YOY) battery electric vehicles (BEV) also achieved January sales records.
Overall, electrified vehicles represented 50.6% of all sales in January.
Toyota Division recorded January sales of 11,974 units, up 0.3% YOY, with electrified sales representing 49.4% of all Toyota units sold.
Lexus Division January sales were down 0.7% YOY, with 2,199 units sold. Electrified vehicle sales represented 56.9% of overall Lexus sales.
The Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada-made NX and RX luxury SUVs lead January sales for Lexus, with the RX family up 26.7% YOY.
