Toyota Canada Releases June, Q2 and first half of 2026 Sales Results

TORONTO, July 2nd, 2026
 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) continues to see strong demand for its electrified vehicles, reaching a record of 17,828 electrified units sold in June 2026, up 78.8% year-over-year (YOY), for a record total of 54,935 electrified vehicles sold during Q2 2026. 

These electrified vehicles sales represented 67.9% of overall June TCI sales and 68.6% of overall Q2 TCI sales. 

Year-to-date (YTD), TCI has sold a record 84,350 electrified vehicles, representing 65.0% of all vehicles sold, up 31.8% YOY. 

A record total of 13,759 Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV, comprised of BEV and PHEV) units were among the electrified Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold in Q2 2026. These ZEV sales were helped by a record quarter for all our battery electric vehicles and similar record Q2 sales for all our PHEV vehicles. 

BEV sales, helped by record bZ and RZ sales, as well as the first full quarter sale of the new 2026 C-HR and the introduction of the bZ Woodland, reached its best quarter ever with 4,967 sales. 

For Q2, Toyota Division electrified vehicles sales reached a record quarter, representing 69.5% of all units sold in Q2 2026 while electrified vehicles represented 61.9% of all Lexus Division units sold in Q2 2026.

For June, Toyota Division electrified vehicles sales represented 68.8% of all units sold in June while electrified vehicles represented 61.8% of all Lexus Division units sold in June.

 

Record first half of the year

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold a record 129,674 vehicles during the first six months of 2026, up 4.4% YOY. 

The Toyota division also saw a record first-half of the year with 113,155 vehicles sold during the first six months of 2026, up 6.7% YOY.  

 

June and Q2 Sales

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold 80,046 vehicles during Q2 2026, up 9.1% year over year and sold 26,243 vehicles in June 2026, up 19.0% from June 2025. Both these represent quarterly and monthly records. 

Toyota division saw Q2 sales of 70,492 units sold, up 12.0% year over year and record June sales of 23,155 units, up 22.4% from June 2025. 

Lexus division saw Q2 sales of 9,554 units sold, down 8.3% year over year and June sales of 3,088 units, down 1.5% from June 2025.
