Toyota is conducting a recall involving certain Lexus vehicles

TORONTO, April 8, 2026 – Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain model year 2016-2022 Lexus RC F, GS F and IS500 vehicles. Approximately 507 vehicles are involved in this recall in Canada.

The subject vehicles are equipped with a fuel pump which may stop operating. If this were to occur, check engine and master warning indicators may illuminate on the instrument panel, the engine may not start and/or the vehicle could stall. If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds, this could increase the risk of a crash.

For all involved vehicles, Lexus dealers will replace the low-pressure fuel pump with an improved one, free of charge.

Owners of involved vehicles will be notified by early-June 2026.

Information about automotive recalls, including but not limited to the list of involved vehicles, is current as of today’s filing date and is subject to change thereafter.
