TORONTO, May 27, 2026 – Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain model year 2024-2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, Mirai, Lexus UX, and GX vehicles. Approximately 6,956 vehicles are involved in this recall in Canada.
Some areas of the 12.3-combination meter display may become blank during startup and would not show some warnings/indicators to the driver. This causes the vehicles not to meet federal safety requirements. Continued driving with these warnings not displayed could delay the driver taking an appropriate action and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
All known owners of the subject vehicles will be notified to return their vehicles to a Toyota or Lexus dealer. The dealers will update the software of the combination meter, free of charge.
For all involved vehicles, Toyota will notify owners by late-July 2026.
Information about automotive recalls, including but not limited to the list of involved vehicles, is current as of today’s filing date and is subject to change thereafter.
