Own the City, Embrace the Open Road: The 2018 Toyota Yaris Sedan

Modern and dynamic, this sub-compact sedan delivers outstanding value and impressive features

TORONTO, ONTARIO, October 1st, 2017 – The 2018 Toyota Yaris Sedan is not what you expect from a subcompact. That’s because every Yaris Sedan is a stylish and value-packed vehicle enhanced with features and technologies that put it in a class by itself.

“The Yaris Sedan blends the outstanding value you expect from a sub-compact with plenty of unexpected delights,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “This is the small car with a dynamic, modern spirit.”

The 2018 Toyota Yaris Sedan features an aerodynamic design that conveys motion – even when standing still. The sculpted front-end complements chiseled lines and an athletic profile.

Inside, the Yaris Sedan’s cabin is comfortable and generous enough for up to five adults. Many features normally considered premium in the subcompact category are fitted as standard, including an audio system with Bluetooth® connectivity, USB input, and steering wheel-mounted controls, air conditioning, power door locks and windows, cruise control, keyless entry with push button start, and more.

Under the hood, the 2018 Yaris Sedan has a 106 peak horsepower 1.5L four-cylinder engine for spirited yet efficient driving. Drivers may choose from either a six-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission. Front wheel drive, highly responsive and efficient electric power steering, and a torsion beam rear suspension contribute to driving fun and confidence.

The 2018 Toyota Yaris Sedan also packs impressive safety features, including a brake override system, electronic brakeforce distribution, traction control, antilock braking system, dynamic stability control, a pre-collision system, six airbags, and more.

The Yaris Sedan is offered in a choice of models and trim levels, as follows:

The 2018 Toyota Yaris Sedan is available with a choice of six-speed manual (Starting MSRP: $17,320) or six-speed automatic (Starting MSRP: $18,525). It includes front bucket seats, dual vanity mirrors, tilting and telescoping steering column, 16” steel wheels, dual power adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, intermittent wipers, and more.

The 2018 Toyota Yaris Sedan Premium (Starting MSRP: $20,530) is equipped with a six-speed automatic plus a 7” Display Audio system, heated front seats, back-up camera, 16” alloy wheels, fog lamps, and more.
