Toyota Canada offers Venza LE starting at $38,490 MSRP; Venza XLE enhances convenience, comfort, and style features starting at $44,490 MSRP; Venza Limited adds technology and amenities starting at $47,690 MSRP
TORONTO, ON – SEPTEMBER 2, 2020 – Forget what you know about mid-size crossovers: The all-new 2021 Toyota Venza reinvents the segment for the modern age with a perfect blend of smart, stylish design, a refined interior thoughtfully appointed with premium materials, and cutting-edge entertainment and connectivity technology. And with three models starting at just $38,490 MSRP, the 2021 Toyota Venza is ready to help you embrace the moment and go where life takes you.
“This is an all-new Venza – and an all-new expression of what a mid-size crossover can be,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “From performance, efficiency, and safety, to a long list of features and premium amenities as standard equipment, the Venza breaks new ground – and does so at an impressively accessible price.”
The new Venza sets itself apart from the first moment you see it. Venza’s elegant, sculpted exterior lines and sleek, tapered roofline perfectly express the vehicle’s low centre of gravity and promise of driving fun and refinement. Projector-style LED headlamps light the way while a full-width rear LED light bar leaves a lasting impression.
Venza’s remarkable story continues inside as it pushes into luxury territory with premium materials and exceptional attention to detail. Ambient lighting welcomes up to five adults into a cabin synonymous with comfort, roominess, and versatility. The driver-focussed cockpit is thoughtfully designed with ergonomic instrumentation and controls, and eloquently equipped with impressive technology. The Venza sports an impressive 1,027 litres (36.3 cubic feet) of cargo space behind the rear seats – and the 60:40 split-folding seats offer up even more space when it’s required.
Venza’s impressive technology package is anchored by Connected Services by Toyota – a suite of smart technologies that help keep drivers safe, informed, and in touch with their vehicle. In addition, all models feature display audio systems with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Powered exclusively by Toyota’s industry-leading hybrid-electric powertrain technology, the new Venza combines advanced, confident, fun-to-drive performance with the best fuel-efficiency in the mid-size two-row crossover segment. It’s a bold, fresh example of how, by 2025, Toyota intends to offer Canadians an electrified option of every model it sells and have those vehicles represent 40 percent of overall sales. Built around a 2.5L four-cylinder engine and three electric motors, the Toyota Hybrid System has been specially tailored to this model. The result is impressive power output matched by impressive fuel efficiency: 219 horsepower, smooth yet spirited acceleration, and an estimated fuel efficiency of just 6.1L / 100km (city/highway combined) to let you do more with less.
The new Venza capitalizes on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TGNA) to maximize handling, steering responsiveness, and a smooth and quiet ride. For the greatest driving confidence, all new Venza models feature an electronic on-demand all-wheel drive system that seamlessly switches from 100 percent front wheel drive to distribute up to 80 percent of driving force to the rear wheels. The result is superior traction in inclement weather, superior handling and stability while accelerating or cornering, and enhanced fuel efficiency. Venza’s Drive-Mode Select system includes Sport and Eco settings to tailor the vehicle’s performance to the driver’s mood and the prevailing weather and road conditions, while EV mode enables low-speed electric only driving for short distances – ideal for parking in the garage late at night without generating noise or emissions.
Venza also sets the bar high for safety with an impressive bundle of systems headlined by Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 – an advanced suite of technologies that enhance protection and support the driver’s awareness and decision-making. Other safety features on all models include the Toyota Star Safety System, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a backup camera.
