TORONTO, February 13, 2026 – Toyota Canada’s commitment to offering Canadians a full range of stylish, well-engineered vehicles that represent excellent value for money has earned the company seven 2026 AutoTrader Awards. AutoTrader announced the awards as part of the events at the 2026 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.
Among these awards, Toyota was voted as Canada’s Most Trusted Automaker after tallying the results of a national survey amongst Canadians. Of those asked, more drivers said they trust Toyota than any other brand. AutoTrader’s jury of industry experts considered every vehicle available to Canadians and announced the category winners today. Of those, the Toyota RAV4 has been named the best overall SUV in the 2026 AutoTrader Awards.
“Being voted Canada’s Most Trusted Automaker is an honour we’re incredibly proud of, and it reflects the confidence Canadians place in Toyota,” said Robert Tsang, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “That trust is reinforced by vehicles like the RAV4, a true Canadian icon built right here in Ontario that represents tremendous value for Canadian drivers. We’re thrilled that AutoTrader experts have honoured RAV4 with this important award, among several others from Toyota’s broad range of vehicles.”
AutoTrader has also selected another six Toyota vehicles for category wins – including sedans, SUVs, and minivans, built around gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains. These awards highlight Toyota’s unique ability to offer Canadians the industry’s broadest range of vehicles and powertrains, being the only full-line automaker in the industry and enabling every Canadian to find a Toyota that’s right for them.
